Thanks for reading Letters From Texas. It's all in good fun, at least most of the time.

Please leave a comment to cheer, jeer, make suggestions, say hi, or to suggest that I go straight to Hell. I'll save you a seat.

Here's what I get from the online translator:

"Elected by the people official who will be able to encourage one to change his name, will conform to the official narrow world outlook, should remove from office."

Hmmmm.... I think it's losing some sort of nuance in the translation process. It's not nearly smartass enough to fit on your blog.

dear schmookims,
never was there a rose more sweet, or a radish more bitter, nor a jackalope more nonexistent, nor a cold more nasal-y, nor a blog more bloggery, than you & your bloggity blog.
love,
cupcake.

I grew up in Texas, and after having been away for 13 years have returned. Thanks for helping me remember there are reasonable folks in the area!
P.S.
Why aren't you on Facecrack?

Its wee morning hours and I googled 'political satirist Texas' looking for Molly Ivins material and found you! I've been very sad about the loss of Molly though she lives on in her amazing wit and will never really be gone. I will be back often for another shot of your outrageous and humorous commentaries. You seem to say most of the things I think about politics and politicians only minus all the 4 letter words. These days you have to laugh at politicians cause if you took them seriously you'd hang yourself in self defense.
