Dear People of Fort Worth:

It may come as a surprise to some that I, a progressive Democrat, am also pro-gun.

I suppose it's part of the proud "liberal redneck" tradition of many Texas Democrats, especially once you get out around the state and away from the People's Republic of Travis. I hunt, but do it so badly I doubt I could get my bag limit if I were hunting at the zoo. I shoot skeet and trap, and I go to the range every once in a while. And while it's big fun, I'm also a stickler for gun safety.

That's why I think this guy is giving Texans a bad name. It's just lucky he wasn't having trouble with his hemorrhoids instead.

So, good people of Fort Worth: this happened on your watch. Make it stop.

Is it just God's little ant farm joke to himself that the man's last name has the word "spinal" in it?

This is spinal tap.

I'm surprised the man's last name doesn't contain the word "Darwin," As in "Darwin awards."

Dear People of Fort Worth:
