Defending Glen Beck
So, Glen Beck just lost a lawsuit against the people who registered s parody web domain to poke fun at Beck. Beck is afraid people might get confused and think he really thinks and does the stuff characterized on the website.
The key quote from the arbiter:
"Only an abject imbecile could believe that the domain name would have any connection to the complainant."
Beck's point exactly. Who the hell else would think enough of Glen Beck, other than an abject imbecile? Gosh, now that website is liable to ruin his stellar reputation.

It's my understanding that Beck was angry because the url name alleged he had raped a girl. It was, of course, his neighbor's schnauzer, Bernie.
The poor thing never recovered and became a slut for the neighborhood curs. The last anyone saw of him, Bernie was said to be dry-humping a parking meter.
Shame on you Glenn Beck.

actually we were both wrong - the owner of the quote was the creator or the website which the Beck camp was suing. But I think it's totally cute that you think this blog has anything to do with accuracy.
I'm impressed that our wonderful Senator from Ft. Worth had time to write this important update on intellectual property rights!
