I’m big in Siberia

This was a new one for me – instead of being interviewed remotely via satellite uplink, simply open the MacBook Pro and fire up Skype. While a bit disorienting because I hadn’t experienced it before, I managed to muddle through an interview with international news network RT.com – Russia Today – on the issue of the criminal justice system in America and Texas.

FUB, that’s effed up. Clueless interviewer, Cali B roll and a Texas consultant. For Russia.

I thought Russia made Texas look like a bunch of Quakers when it came to justice.

I couldn’t understand a word she said, her teeth were good, she appeared sober, and she didn’t look the least bit cold?!?! What’s going on over there?

By the way, a growing lack of public confidence in the legal system and Life-Without-Parole has resulted in Texas no longer leading the world in death penalty cases.

Being on skype the first time is definitely wierd. It looked like you did a good job. Way to hold it together.
