WWRD (What Would Reagan Do?)
As Republican majorities in Wisconsin and other states attempt to silence the voices of working families, and as the members of the American Federation of Teachers invest their Spring break in coming to Austin to communicate with legislators to defend public education, we here at Letters From Texas Worldwide Headquarters thought it might be useful to see what conservatives’ Lord and Savior had to say about unions.

As the Reverend Charles Johnson said today at the rally, the Lord Jesus Christ himself was called to be an educator. Even non-believers call him a great teacher. So what *would* Jesus (and Reagan) do about our crisis in funding for education in Texas? Don’t mess with Texan kids! And consider that between Saturday’s rally and today’s Lobby Day, nearly 20,000 folks have stood up for public education.
