Buzz from the TV show – Rick Perry Presidential distraction?

On last night’s “Capital Tonight,” both Ted Delisi and I were asked about the resurgence of talk about Rick Perry running for President. Of the country. This country. Yeah, me too.

Anyway, here was my answer.

Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. In addition to serious discussion about General Sanchez, last week’s input seemed to turn into a referendum on my tie, sadly. Hopefully I did better this time.

Here’s where you can watch the entire show on YNN’s website, which I hope you do. It’s really a good show, despite the fact that I’m on it.

Fabulous tie. Are those little donkeys on it? you are so cheeky to pull this off without YNN noticing! Clearly a very smart woman gave you that tie. I bet she’s going places.

I suspect that if she’s going places, her most immediate destination is to arrive here in the comments section to break her arm patting herself on the back. :)

    She sure did!

Well for the record, it’s a great tie, and thank you.

So what about Perry for President?

And she has support from other women of taste and class. Very nice tie, Rachel, but now let’s work on that haircut.

I think Perry will be considered for GOP President a couple of days after G. Gordon Liddy is the last candidate standing. Rick’s running for Veep. Veeps don’t have to be smart. They don’t even have to be able to tie their own shoes.

By the way, the last time I heard him speak, he sounded exactly like Dubya – same cadence, same gestures, same burst of short phrases. Anybody else notice that?
