Mary Mapes

"...our favorite political soothsayer and comedy stylist (well, next to Karl Rove)..."
Wayne Slater

"Harold Cook, who once tried to run over one of my reporters with a van full of senators, has now decided to run over everyone in sight with his new blog...."
R.G. Ratcliffe

"[Cook] is just twisted. And I mean that in the nicest way possible. Sort of. Laugh uproariously when it's really freakin funny .... And shake your head, eyes covered, when it's just too...too...too."
Karen Brooks

Sounds almost like a Karl Rover move…
Except Rove would have had the stripper come to HIS office and dance, and then accuse his opponent of setting it all up to make him look bad.
ohhhh, even better! That way you get the political hit, and you also get a stripper. Nice work!
Sounds like something that would have gone on in an area new Fort Worth called Forest Hill a couple of years ago.
This arouses several thoughts.
1. Gee, string up whoever did this.
2. Following the lemons to lemonade cliche, they should have turned it into a fundraiser.
3. Did he pay his pole tax?
4. I’d get revenge by sending his opponent the stripping police officer guy.
they did.. in the early 80′s.. you were still in junior high..
Sadly, that’s not even true. I graduated from high school in 1979. But thanks for thinking different than that!!
