What I never hear anyone bring up, even Obama’s defenders: Even if Obama WAS born abroad, his mother was AMERICAN. That makes him a U.S. citizen by BIRTH. And thus eligible to be president. Am I missing something here?
Yes – the Constitution says that Presidents have to be not just citizens, but Native-born. He is Native-born, of course, but you do have to be.
