Thanks for reading Letters From Texas. It’s all in good fun, at least most of the time.

Please leave a comment to cheer, jeer, make suggestions, say hi, or to suggest that I go straight to Hell. I’ll save you a seat.

This story about a meat company settling for not and/or mislabeling meat meant for pet food being sent to Texas prisons as “fajita” meat has appeared on Huffington Post and Alternet, but I thought you might enjoy it. (But probably not around lunch time.) Here is the Dept of Justice release.

I await what 10th Amendment argument one of our Texas politicos cooks up against this “intrusion” into states’ rights.

    Not fade away,

I saved this site in my favorites because it never, ever fails to make me laugh. I’m sending others to it as well, though darlin’ Sid has moved on to seeing over “ag” needs of Texas. Poor animals….
    Thanks for making me smile~
